Big Rocks
One day I was at a hairstylist’s shop waiting for a Friend that was having her hair permed. My Friend made mention to the owner of the shop, who was the owner of a chain of styling salons, that I was a webmaster and graphic designer with my own online business. The conversation had somehow come to modern technology and the owner of the shop was expressing a vested interest in new information technology ventures and He began to shift the conversation toward Me and my credentials. He made an inquiry into my training and also into any projects I was working on.
I expressed my interest in Equal Rights and unconditional Love to him. I also told him about the Vision that I have of how the World Wide Web will grow as Justice and Equality begin to be Here & NOW provided and delivered to all so that every human Infinite Spirit will Share cyberspace in Equality.
He smiled and dismissed what I said with the following statement: “Thats a nice Dream but in the real world You need to find a way to make some money.. You need someone with money to help You get started.”
I told him that he should remember the story of the big rocks.
“What do You mean?” He replied.
“Have You ever heard of the story of the big rocks?” I asked him with a smile.
“No, what is that?” He asked.
Then I began, “well, Mary showed up to her first day on the job as a professor at the university in her home town. Mary is teaching a class of honors students despite never being among honors classes herself. The students entered the class and were seated when Mary asked, “Can I have every ones attention at the front of the class”.
Mary proceeded to reach under the table and placed a 1 galon mason jar from under the table on top for the students to see. Mary then placed on the table a bucket of softball size rocks. She began placing the large rocks, one by one, in the mason jar. When she fit about 8 in and reached the top of the jar, Mary asked, “Is the jar full?”
One student quickly spoke , “Yes!”
Mary then reached under the table for a bucket of gravel and started to pour the gravel into the jar with the rocks. When she could shake no more gravel into the jar, Mary asked, “Is the jar full?”
This time a student said, “Probably not.”
“Good”, said Mary.
Then Mary reached under the table and pulled out a bucket of sand. She began pouring the sand in with the rocks and gravel. When Mary could squeeze no more sand in with the rocks and gravel she looked at the class and asked, ” Is the jar full now?”
Now a student quickly answered, “NO!”
“Good”, she said.
She then reached under the table to grab a bucket of water. She began pouring water in with the mixture of big rocks, gravel, and sand until she could not place one more drop of water in the mason jar. Mary again asked the farmiliar question, “Is the jar full?”
“NO”, the class spoke confidently.
“Good”, replied Mary.
“Does anyone know the point of my demonstration?”, asked Mary.
One student spoke up, ” No matter how much you fit into your day, there is always room for more.”
“No, thats not the point”, said Mary
“what is the point?” Someone in the class spoke out.
Then Mary spoke, “The big rocks have to go in first if you wish to fit them in at all.”
I view one unconditional love as the biggest rock of all. It is important to place the big rocks of life in their position first or there may not be room for them in the future. One Love. “
I know every wound must be healed with ONE unconditional love. I am ready, I am willing, and I am able to help with all the strength I have within. I hope you will read my writing if you are interested in seeing more of my energy.
I am positive that I am a creative designer. I am confident in my work, I believe I am infinite potential within and I am ready to serve without acquiring servitude. I am responsible for my actions and I am spontaneously working and enjoying life rather than live a life based on linear time.
